How much would Cincy beating an overrated garbage ND give them a playoff push?

Their schedule is hot garbage and the media will act like Notre Dame was the greatest team of all time.
Plus everywhere else across cfb teams are down. The ACC sucks, the Pac 12 sucks, the Big 12 sucks.

Depends on who’s undefeated. They don’t get in over an undefeated Oregon, Oklahoma, or Penn state

And you are right... outside of Georgia and maybe Alabama... what dominant teams are there in CFB?
I don't see Oregon, Penn State, or Oklahoma running the table.
I think this is actually a good year for a G5 team to make a run.

Actually, right now Cincinnati is showing the country they should have been given the 4th playoff slot last year instead of Notre Dame.

Probably two blowouts.
But look at recent history. 2021 games... margins were 17 and 21 points. 2020 games... 35 points and 6 points. 2019, 11 and 27 points. 2018... 6 and 18 points. 2017... 17 and 31 points.
Etc.
It's not like we've had these amazing semifinal games.
Might as well give some new blood a chance to get blown out, instead of seeing ND and OK get blown out...

Cincy is a good team but they aren't going to go into a playoff and win. It's not their fault but they don't have the talent across the board to compete.
If they go undefeated i would think a 1 loss conference champ stays ahead of them. Depends who it is and their schedule of course
