That Auburn "Class"

Since the Auburn Cult, er, I mean "Family" pride themselves on having more class than anyone in football I'd like to take a moment to describe the moments in which I saw this class on display yesterday.
1. Immediately upon entering town some guy told me, "Don't fall out of there and fricking die a-hole. That would be terrible." I was riding shotgun in a Jeep Wranger with the doors off.
2. Every time AU did anything remotely positive this young guy in the next section would shoot double birds at the LSU section and say, "frick You Corndogs!"
3. After LSU scored the last touchdown a small group of LSU fans behind started chanting L-S-U and a young girl about 17 years old came down the stairs just holding a bird up in their direction. I said to her, "Classy." She stopped and told me, "What the frick do you know about being classy a-hole," then ran off. Again, she was about 17, and a fine example of the progeny of the Auburn Family I'm sure.
4. And in a final act of fine fandom, as time expired some anonymous chicken shite threw a cup of bourbon and coke that hit me on the left arm. Luckily I just got splashed a little, the majority dumped on the Auburn fan below me, she was soaked.
Crap like this is why I fricking hate Auburn. They talk the most about having "class" which as you might expect in reality means they have the least.

I didn't think they were that bad. I did some trash talking with some guy but we were cool after the game.

So what was the problem?
That all sounds like typical fanfare at my family's Thanksgiving gathering. Election years are especially "colorful"!

You are obviously under estimating the idiots here in Baton Rouge who have absoultely no affiliation with the University, who don't attend the games, and who don't follow the team during down years, but swear up and down they are "the biggest lsu fan ever." There always the ones giving us a bad name...Seen it too many times, will die trying to stop it.

My wife and I got to Auburn early Thursday afternoon and were treated very kindly by all of the fans we encountered. Sure there was some ribbing taken and given but all in good fun. I guess we were lucky, hope the kind of treatment you guys got was isolated.

Auburn had the nicest fans I have ever experienced.
There was a black guy who screamed at me "Go frick yourself, Bizznatch" from a passing car, but that was my only real complaint.
