even if it’s extra money, it’s worthless if everyone thinks you’ve taken a step down

Yeah the Sun Belt had a great year last year but it’s still the lowest conference in the perception of many fans

With the current number of teams for each conference yes, but bowl payouts and other payouts actually favor the CUSA schools.
