It’s so they can put your packages in the garage. They use one of the smart garage doors and an alexa key cam.

My garage is used exclusively for parking cars, so yes, if I had a smart opener, I would let them put packages in there.
I wouldn't if I was one of those crazy people who keeps thousands of dollars of small, easy to carry away shite in my garage.

I have Amazon access to my garage. For security I spray fart spray all over when I leave to make sure the driver doesn’t want to stay in there.
