I live in Mississippi. The buzz in Starkville is that Kiffin is Woodward’s choice to replace O. Could be totally false but Moo State fans think it’s pretty much a done deal once the season is over. I personally would like to see someone else.

is people trying to fine tune their AM radios since that town is about 50 years behind the rest of civilization.

Of course they would love to have Kiffin gone from their in state rival. Yeah, there's no bias there at all in their opinions.

That's due to methane gas from the cow shite.

Kiffin with our (on the field) talent would be a sight to see.

He'd do plenty of work with our off-the-field talent, too I'm sure

Joey Swampwater.. got a nice ring to it.

What makes you think that people in Starkville have any insight whatsoever into this?

Damn...who would've thought that MS would be the epicenter of LSU football insider info?

Do the people in Starkville have info not available in Baton Rouge or Oxford?

I would like the hire, but I'm concerned about the defense regressing

Kiffin would shred with Nuss and Howard. I would welcome him with open arms.

And people would bitch about his defenses. Give him a competent d coordinator and get the popcorn ready.

Completely understand the concerns with Kiffin, however, I feel like he's got a very high ceiling. He's young, has staying power (NFL isn't going to come calling), and with the right D-coordinator...sky's the limit imo. Not to mention, he'd fit in down there and players would love him.

Maybe I'm being overly optimistic but I wouldn't hate it.

It could be wishful thinking on State’s part since it looks like Kiffin has things going in the right direction while Leach seems to be more frustrated in his team than the poor officiating that lost them the Memphis game.

You can’t really pay attention to these things. Sexton is his agent. He could be trying to get a big raise before he goes into Alabama. His value is very high right now.
