The Gabby Petito Case…

Gabby Petito's body believed to have been found near Grand Teton National Park….
We have no clue yet if the apparent death of this young woman was the result of foul play, a suicide or an accident.
Yet this unfolding drama provides an important lesson for young people in our times: popular social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube are too often expressions of an ultimately hollow existence.
The blissfully happy and photogenic young couple in the picture perfect relationship documented in real-time actually both were two very troubled souls in a toxic relationship.

Instagram, tick tok, Facebook and Twitter are all fake. These platforms distort real life to magnify some problems while minimizing the joy of real human interaction. They are a scourge to our society and contributing to our burgeoning mental health crisis.

She probably fell off a cliff or something while they were arguing. There are reports the cops got called somewhere to investigate a domestic disturbance involving these two. I'm thinking they got in a catfight. She fell and he feared he'd get charged with manslaughter. Tourist ignoring safety barriers and falling happens occasionally. Sad. Poor parents.

This is such a weird case.
I'm obviously very confident the boyfriend is hiding something.
But, the idea that this is just a simple murder seems off.

I admittedly don’t know much about this case, but it’s been weird to me how much traction this case got so quickly with the national media. This seems like something you’d see on Dateline or 48 hrs. What makes this one different? Honest question.

Not every day do they keep a public video account of their travels. And they were a young couple not exactly struggling in life to make ends meet … far from typical for their journey to end this way.
