They are only blocking it because we are allowing them to.
No one can convince me that an 8 man special forces squad with air support wouldn't keep the Taliban away from the airport. They would secure the airport and surround streets within hours. We just don't care about our own.

Well, I think we all sadly knew “some people would do some things” once the Taliban took over but hey, both our present admin and the UN have strongly let them know their government better be inclusive so the Taliban should know we are pretty serious and stuff.
