for the folks that doubt Napier
Anybody that can turn little chicken shite USL/UL-L/SWLAJC into a Top 20 program has to be doing some serious coaching!

What do yall think he could do with a great DC (How about Jeremy Pruitt?) and LSU's Offensive talent?

Of course, he'd have to undergo a major OL renovation, but with Dellinger coming back, (If he doesn't enter the Black Hole and head back to Michigan) and Campbell/Bordelon coming in, plus a transfer or two, it could be accomplished with a great OL Coach coming in with him.

LSU could do much worse and they might have the next Saban there.........

Napier would bring his own scheme to at least one side of the ball. That’s a big deal for consistency’s sake AND recruiting pieces to fit that scheme vs. paper star-chasing.

I personally would consider Napier a home run — just might need a year or two to pick momentum back up from this mess & prove to potential recruits that he’s the real deal.

All I’ve wanted for a decade and a half is a HC who can speak a full sentence. Before somebody hits me with blah blah 2019, let’s accept that both Joe Brady & Dave Aranda will make formidable HC’s, if that’s what they are set on doing.

It’s not complicated. Football is a game. Coaches don’t play. Game theory > pedigree > rah rah.

O had his time in the sun & it was an epic season, but it could not be more obvious at this point this is not a viable long-term model/solution.
