Who are we as a Country? I think it's time to reflect and define "this is America in 2021"

I think about this all the time because America is changing so fast. I certainly feel like white males are being pushed aside and last I checked, I am from here....not another country. Maybe that's a feeling rather than fact?
Regardless, it begs the question, who are the Americans? What are they about in the modern era?
What is American culture in 2021?
What does it mean to make America great again? We could write a book answering this question. Oddly enough, I don't think anyone bothered to ask Trump what that slogan means to him.
Progressives are quick to remind us we're a nation of immigrants...
Does this mean America is a country with no roots of her own, just a destination for people from other countries? At some point China became China, you know what I mean? and they ask visitors "when are you leaving to go home?"
What are our values? They seem to be changing very quickly
What is our language long term? press English for 1, 2 for Spanish
I am in an office right now where I can overhear a guy on his cell phone (through these thin walls) talking in another language, he's from India, I would guess.
another tenant who just moved in our office building, nice lady, all wrapped in Muslim attire. She is multilingual. At times I feel like I am the foreigner who is confused how I got here.
What is our culture? A blender of many? What are we known for in 2021? How do we see ourselves?
Biden just tweeted today that Mexican culture is American Culture? Really? Does this idea or concept work in Mexico? "American culture is Mexican culture". It makes no sense to me though I somewhat understand the concept or intent of that message.
As we let more and more people in our country (illegally or via 1000's of unvetted refugees, it seems to me what it means to be an American is all the more confusing and uncertain.
Back to the question: What does it mean to be American? Short answer might be "land of the free"...at least for now
Is America merely a place people come from other countries who wish to be free and have opportunity but want to keep their homeland culture and language?
in the long run, what Does America look like if the prior sentiment is true?
"We're a nation of immigrants" they say again and again. I say I am from here, so are my parents, grandparents and great grand parents. We're from here not "over there" This is home, it's my inheritance I didn't earn but I want to hand down this gift to my children.
okay....so...

It would be fantastic if we could be given like Idaho / Montana / Wyoming / Utah - ND and SD and Alaska and let the libs have everything else.
But no reason for the elite to allow any free states.

Yeah what they leave out is that we were a nation of European immigrants not immigrants from every 3rd world nation on Earth.

Americans have sat idly by while our Country has been flooded with Low IQ, uneducated, unskilled Illegal Immigrants from all over the World. Our Government isn’t going to stop or remove these people. It’s up to American citizens to do that and we are far too lazy to even care. We deserve everything we get for not pushing back on this decades ago. We are letting Afghans into this country 20 years after 9/11. We shouldn’t be letting anyone from that region of the world into this country period. We never learn.

Here’s what I think about this.
We’re a “nation of immigrants” but that was 200 years ago, when we were a new country. I’m no history buff, but I’m sure there were a ton of countries in Europe that STARTED that way.
In that time, we’ve had a culture that was established. Those outdated platitudes of “we’re a melting pot” (we’re more like a salad at this point) don’t apply anymore. Annoys me that the same people who say we’re a nation of immigrants because of where we were 200 years ago also call the constitution an outdated document. Can’t have it both ways.
At this point, I don’t really care what color you are. We ARE a white country, though. White people built this country to where it was. It’s not up for debate, look at every advancement we’ve had. This doesn’t mean I’m a white supremacist. It simply means I think it’s silly to want to eradicate white people. By all means. Come to America. Contribute. Work. Go to school. But you have to assimilate to the culture. Without a unified culture we have no country.
And THAT’S the problem today. People want to come in and maintain their own culture. People WITHIN the country want to destroy the culture because of “white supremacy.”
Nation of immigrants is an outdated philosophy.

They’re pure states and wouldn’t rot from the inside due to demographic time bombs like the southeast and southwest would.

Also there’s plenty of room in those states for Lebensraum. Would be amazing.
Man. All of the states you’ve mentioned are boring shitholes. I see what you mean, but, step off the ledge. You don’t want any part of the dakotas.

2021…….America is a shell of what once made it great.
This country could, in prior generations, unite around topics having to do with our nation. Now, it is no longer possible with speech and thought being suppressed, groups of people called out depending upon vaccination status or political party affiliation.
Look no further than the recent 20th anniversary of 911. What brought us together 20 years ago is now being redefined by left leaning media as misguided patriotism that should instead be viewed as guilt and retribution for actions undertaken by American covert operations in foreign lands.

We are a nation of settlers and revolutionaries first.
People who came here post 1965 all migrated to the most advanced country on earth, already built, already capable of space travel.
Comparing the immigrants of the past 50 years to the Americans who came before them is ridiculous.
Those who hate white people are also the most natural liars to ever walk this earth.

America 2021 is a dying empire being looted from without and within.
Christian White Males who still feel patriotism towards this degenerate third-world shithole are not paying attention.

I'm sitting on my back patio playing w the kids, enjoying a perfect crisp breeze in shorts and sandals, in NW MT. I'll take a few cold months for this and no bugs.
Besides, winters are what we'll have St. DeSantistan for!

In the beginning..."everyone was from somewhere else" = "land of immigrants"
2021...America is well established...by many generations of natural born citizens
We need to be wise about immigration for the sake of remaining "American"
And we're not being wise
