DAT 9/15 Astros (Urkel) @ Arlington (Arihara) 7:05 PM CDT

I thought I would change things up and get this party started early. I feel a string of victories coming for the good ol' boys and I need to get in post-season form, so here we are.
Last night, Jordan Lyles was who we hoped he would be in 2011 and stifled the Astros. CK turned in a killer performance on the mound---the type of performance that would kill a career.
CK was great once...what seems like many years ago
Luckily, Oakland and Seattle continue to self destruct, so the Astros have a nice cushion in the division.
Still, the time is now to get on a roll and head to the playoffs on a positive run.
The Rangers send Japanese pitcher Arihara to the mound. The last time the Astros faced a Japanese pitcher, they treated Ohtani quite rudely. I am quite sure Archie would have approved...
It's time to Go Get Em Astros! Let's ride.

Who do we go with in a Game 1? CK has been up and down. LMJ?

Assuming they can line it up how they want, I think you have to go with LMJ. Especially if the Astros have home field over the White Sox.
I'd probably want LMJ, Frambaw, CK, Garcia to be the post-season rotation, but I could see them going with Urquidy and using Garcia as a long relief or tandem guy.

Anybody catch CK postgame interview?
He's never been a chest thumper, but he sounded particularly down about his ability to get outs. Said he cant get any free strikes against righties anymore and attributed the surge in homeruns to the fact that he has to live in the zone more due to "more accurate strike zones"...

I think it would be rather foolish to re-sign CK.

Yeah, that's been determined already, IMO
He is a righty Keuchel at this point
The bigger question is where does he fall in the postseason rotation, if he does at all

I haven't seen Urquidy pitch since coming off the IL, but if he pitches well and Greinke continues to struggle, I'm okay with leaving off Greinke and having Garcia and Urquidy as starters.

Greinke needs consecutive good starts before the playoffs to sniff the rotation. I think even the moron knows this.

I’m playing a little game of “What position are they playing”. There are a ton of possibilities in that lineup.
