Imagining a lineup made by a manager with a fully-functional brain:

Altuve
Ted
Yuli
Yed
Diaz
Jake
Marwin
Chas

Gotcha. I thought we were playing, “Our manager isn’t a weeded out retard and is pushing his players to win home field advantage.”

Remember, the front office doesn't care about sentimental things like homefield advantage.

And by and large, they are correct.

Winning the division is the first priority. Second priority is health and rest.

I bet over 8.5... they need to start scoring.

I don't totally disagree but the division was always a forgone conclusion. At least thinking about going for homefield vs. CWS would not be a bad idea.

I feel like ownership should be encouraging the home field advantage. That's potentially a lot of revenue if a series goes the distance.

What a shite lineup

Where’s Caigbaw? He was asking why we were melting last night. And here endeth the lesson.

It’s like a John McKay quote:

We had one of our starters out with an injury but we made up for it by benching two more.

The Mariners are getting absolutely destroyed in agonizing fashion in the 10th inning. Death by 1,000 cuts shite. Bloop singles, run scoring singles deflected off gloves, walks, passed balls. A 3-3 tie has turned into a 7-3 game with bases loaded and 1 out.

ETA: and a little flare double poked over first lands on the foul line for 2 runs.
