Is this real life? How is this even possible? How in the world can the OL not handle a 4 man rush from McNeese? Even with inept coaching/schemes, at some point the talent alone should be enough to not get beat like they were...

Not one of our guys will play on the next level.

Ed Ingram got a ton of hype but he’s been the weakest link

Maybe Deculus at Guard

Our C is a boy playing against men

Jimmies and Joes are trash

Look, Peetz has got to coach up Max. If the OL is a weakness then they need to put in plays that allow Max to make quicker reads. Max should be able to dump it off to the rb out the backfield or the middle of the field if the opposing defenses is blitzing.

It is not all OL although I agree it is underwhelming. My point here is that Max at times, especially under blitz pressure, gets the deer in the headlights. Like it or not Nuss was able to avoid the rush and get passes off and on target. If the QB has the poise to stand back there and burn the coverage then guess what… the blitzes will stop or slow way the hell down.

Because of that OL coach we hired in the middle of the summer, that every one of you wanted

Inept coaching/schemes? You know this for a fact? I think you will be proven wrong as the season progresses.

Only 2 starters played and our best backup was out. Calm Down.

The only thing worse than O's OL recruiting is the coaching those recruits get.

Wouldn’t be running for his life if he got rid of the ball on time or knew what to do. Max has tunnel vision and doesn’t go through progressions.

Max had plenty of time to throw.

Holding the ball too long is 100% on him

Supposedly 3 seasons ago it was impressed upon Ed that we needed to get better on the OL.

Orgeron Post-Game Bama 2018

I would point out that largely the same OL in '19 was part of CFB's most prolific offense. I think it's reasonable to think they all improved some. And even though they won the OL award, I didn't think they were that special. There were no 1st rd picks.

But what was happening behind the OL stressed the heck out of the defenses. And the OL was the beneficiaries.

Seems like we're almost back to the Les era where if all 5 OL can know and simultaneously execute their blocks that the D knows is coming, then a play can be successful. That's rarely the case and shouldn't be attempted unless if you have an OL full of Trai Turner's.

Now, our OL isn't that talented and our scheme helps them none.

Many instances, he had time to throw. He is having trouble finding a wide open receiver. Hopefully the game slows down for him, or Nuss will soon overtake him.
