This is a very young team

No it isn't. Take off the P&G glasses.

Shanahan, Ingram, Hines, Deculus, are ALL seniors. Wire is a RS-Jr.

TDP is a junior. Jenkins - RS-Jr; Palmer - Jr.

8 of your (usual) starting 11 on offense are 3,4,5 years players.

On defense:

Anthony - 6th year senior; Farrell - GS; Clark - Senior, Baskerville - Senior; Gaye - Senior; Stingley - Junior; Flott - Junior

Almost all of the sophomores who are starting/playing (Roy, Ricks, Boutte, Ojulari) were guys who played a lot of big snaps last year.

This isn't a "young" team. So let's stop with that pathetic excuse. The fact that LSU was returning a lot of production from last year was a big reason why people were high on them bouncing back from last season.

Great! When do you supposed the numerous veteran players will "find their footing"?

Rallying to only seven or 8 wins is just sad. This team should be so much better

So…. Ed has taken the program from expecting to compete for SEC titles and playoff births to hoping we can “rally” and get to 7 wins.

Yet so many at just fine with it.

possibly, only due to strong defense and special teams

Where is this strong defense?

Surely you are not ignoring the UCLA game and basing this on McNeese?

they were simply not up for Mcneese

That’s very telling I’m and of itself if true. After getting embarrassed in week 1 how are you not up for game 2, regardless of opponent?

Absolutely.. max will get better fresh backs and wr will get better. Defense will start coming together I believe. UCLA humbled a over confident bunch. But peetz needs to call his mentor and figure out how to get into a rythm calling plays. I believe they will ply up to their competition

Too early to tell. The OL is gonna get our QBs slaughtered unless they straighten up.

The DL might help us create some turnovers that’ll keep some of these games close enough to squeak out a few wins that get us in that 7/8/9 win category.

I’m not overly impressed with anyone else in this conference minus Bama.

Same feeling here, it’s like that nightmare when you wake up scared to death, go back to sleep and it happens again and again,

Wow. We went from the most talented team to rallying for 8 wins. This board is full of knee-jerkers.
