Fake to Scott and Hatch flings the ball downfield on the fly route. 10 yards later Byrd hauls it in races for the endzone...

Every week of every year, this topic comes up, and somebody calls for a downfield pass. And it never happens. Why ask an inexperienced QB to risk putting your team in trouble early in the game, and lose confidence as a result? Makes no sense.

Charles Scott run between the tackles. IF it's a pass, it will be to Dickson.

I like a little play action pass on the first play of the game....

a flea-flicker would catch them off guard as well (I know this isn't gonna happen...but then again we do have the wizard)

I saw we run the ball to the left behind our All-American. Run em early and often!!

Knowing LM, it will be a run up the middle. But it would be nice to see him throw it downfield knowing they are going to stack the LOS.

LSU offence never makes it to the feild. We run back every punt.

Or just most likely a run by Scott

Would be nice...but Hatch couldn't hit those against North Texas or App State.

yeah, that and running a pa pass on the 1st play kinda defeats the purpose of running a pa pass.

why stop there? lets run a quadruple reverse double flea flicker with herman johnson lined up at wide out.

its going to be charles scott up the middle. forget about it.

That was the joke. From what I've seen, that's pushing it for Hatch. As long as it gets results though.....that's fine by me...

+1 on not putting the QB in 2nd and 10. We will run the ball for this reason, also we know Auburn will load up and try to stop the run and we want to set the tone early that we'll just run em over anyway...
