Well, I have a flip phone if that tells you anything. And FWIW, it works every time I either make a call or receive a call.

Mine is the same way. And I get it, but its just when she can't do something she wants to do because of her lack of technology.. She will call me up and ask me about it then blame me like its my fault.
I start laughing when she blames me which makes her even more aggravated, but I tell her that there is absolutely nothing I can do..
She still calls me to ask me what channel something comes on despite the fact there is a TV guide. I am surprised she knows how to press the button on the remote and talk into it.
