Make a run at Saban…

Scott Woodward. This is the ultimate big fish. Imagine the seismic shift in college football that would happen immediately. The unthinkable had just happened. Nick Saban accepts the head coaching job at LSU. Nick has come home to retire. He will rebuild LSU to natty winner status and then retire off into the sunset in the place he’s admitted previously he never wanted to leave.

Lifetime contract. 15 million a year.

People are gonna downvote but there’s no reason to not try it. LSU’s boosters have deep enough pockets and Saban is showing no sign of slowing down right now. His return would do more than just revitalize the football program

Good grief….he lost toULM. He is a loser.

I’m sure he’d love to start over again now that he’s sixty some odd years old.

Rant would be ready to run his arse off after first loss.

It’s all part of his plan. Don’t you see it you fools?!
Build up a program to elite status (LSU)
Leave said program and build up a new program to elite status (Alabama)
Destroy first program into oblivion. (LSU)
Leave second program (Alabama) and go back to the first program (LSU) to do the “process” all over again.
It’s all part of the process you fools!

It would be a quick rebuild. Plus it’s not a hard job.

Exactly, he loved baton rouge too. Would he rather retire here or Tuscaloosa?

In theory, it will be kind of like Saban is the coach of LSU. Because when he hires Ed, and Ed takes all his Louisiana recruits and present internal linemen with him... it will seem like it.

I’d rather not see LSU embarrass themselves
