Anyone get the first vaccine dose and decide not to get the second?

Just curious..
Due for my second pfizer dose tomorrow and thinking about bailing.
I wasn't too keen on getting it in the first place,
but the wife already got hers after her job pressured her.
Then I started hearing more stories about healthy 19-year olds dying from it.
Then I figured you'd eventually need it to get into sporting venues, and fly and cruise.
So I gave in and went get it, then started regretting it the next couple weeks.
If I only got 1 dose, does it mean only half my organs will fall out my arse in a few years?

You sound very rational

I think that those for and against the vaccine would agree that person would be stupid.

What changed for you in 3 weeks?
I'm generally curious...not trying to troll you or call you out here....I'm pro vaxx choice for sure.

Guy I work with who's wife is nurse in BR. Said she had a healthy 19 year old girl with no underlying conditions die within a couple days.
Kind of just freaked me out. I was always on the fence about getting it.

I only got one because a lot of bars in the Bay area were requiring at least one.

Find her name so we can look up obituary.

Don't overthink it. You're already in, the benefits far outweigh the risk.

Jokes on you.
We are two weeks™ away from 2 shots being the new unvaxxed.

So you hear one supposed story and that freaks you out?
Yet hear numerous stories and cases of people that were otherwise healthy dying of COVID and that doesn’t worry you?

Was always on the fence about it.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but didn't want to trust a vaccine that was out for a year and not FDA approved.
I'm 29 and healthy.
My wife and parents are pro vax, but my friends and father-in-law are hard anti-vaxx.
My wife won't even tell her own dad she got vaccinated, because he is ate up with conspiracy theories.
I kind of fall somewhere in the middle.
Now that pfizer's pretty much FDA approved, protecting myself vs not protecting myself seemed like the logical thing to do.
I got my vax card now which is basically a business card with scribble scratch..
What does the second dose do that the first one doesn't?
Just hearing all the conspiracy shite from my friends and FIL was making me second guess myself.

The side effects of covid are way worse than the side effects of the vaccine

All valid concerns.
I got my two dose regimen completed back in April.
If we knew then what we know now (regarding efficacy) I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have gotten it. I sure as shite ain't getting no booster.
