Well the NL field is set. Only thing left to be decided is who wins the West and SF has a 2 game lead with 3 to play so it’s likely gonna be
Milwaukee vs Atlanta
San Fran vs LA/STL
So going into the last weekend the big storyline is AL Wild Card. Here’s the standings with 3 games remaining:
Yankees sitting pretty after winning 2/3 in Toronto this week. They host the Rays this weekend
2nd wild card spot is what everyone will be watching. Seattle and Boston control their own destiny at this point with Toronto needing some help. All 3 host teams with losing records this weekend.
Nationals @ Red Sox
Angels @ Mariners
Orioles @ Blue Jays

The Mariners and Nats are bout to get boned this weekend. MLB must be drooling for a Red Sox Yankees 1 game playoff.

Damn Kershaw leaves the game in 2nd inning with apparent injury

FA this offseason. Could be his last start as a Dodger.

Shitty way for his time to potentially end with the organization

You know better than anyone the Dodgers are not letting him go, Dodgers will offer him a competitive deal and unless someone comes millions over he is staying

Eh. The team has some decisions to make thats going to be dependent on whatever the hell happens to bauer
He may have to take a pay cut as opposed to the rangers finally getting a legitimate offer at him

Dodgers will come in at 20-25m a year over 2-3 and that will be enough. Kershaw is comfortable and enjoys his time in L.A.
Plus from previous interviews he seems the type to want to finish his career with one team.
