Hm. If what he claims about paying the buyout possible not, it would be up to Ed at this point.

Ahh, still going at Rosenblatt.
He’s one of the more knowledgeable baseball posters here (in terms of knowledge of the game, the LSU program, etc) I’m not going to go back and read his post history, but during the baseball coaching search, I never got the vibe from him that he was someone inside the AD.

Yeah, it's a little more to it than that. The other approaches didnt work, now he's onto the good guy routine.
I suggest reading the other thread and his history.
If you look at his post history, and realize why my posting his comments about Ed being good and the extension....there is really only one person in the world that would bother.
If he's really not Scott Woodward, than I'm completely baffled as to why he is upset at me. The only person that cares right now that scott signed off on all this is, well, Scott.

One last thing, hopefully for the night. Technically, I don't think I even said anything bad per se about Woodward, it could be implied by my questions I guess... that's about it.

I have rarely seen an assistant make a public statement like that. He's guaranteed to lose his job at that moment, the only possible incentive is to try to say "this ain't on me" to salvage his reputation in the coaching community.
We've only seen one game this season, but the same ugly mess is showing up now. They are trying to force something that doesn't work.

Once again overhypes the team all offseason only to get demolished in Game 1.
Confronts a booster like some roided up buffoon at a fishing camp (allegedly, ha).
Talks shite to a UCLA fan before getting curb stomped a few hours later.
What am I leaving out?
I think his evaluations of are our team since 2019 are either disingenuous or incompetent at best.
Blatantly misleading fans with his own propaganda creating expectations that his underlings constantly cry about.
The toxic culture within the program and complete absence of leadership is enough. It has to change quickly if the season is going to turn around. But it won’t.
The team has no leadership from him or among the players.
