Speed Queen people, anyone have a TR7

Heating element went out in our older Kenmore dryer and I’m tired of fixing it, and our LG HE washer has sucked from day one. I’m also tired of it taking 1.5 hours to wash a load of clothes. I’m looking at getting the TR7 to replace the washer and the corresponding dryer.
I read there were some issues a few years ago, but that they worked those out now and the 2020 on up ones are all good. Anyone have a newer year Model TR7? The LG is like 5.? cuft but it has no agitator and never fills up enough to be truly that big. Was the drop to 3.? cuft that noticeable?

I have no idea what model I have but it is the only thing (literally) that we cleaned and saved after the flood. It is a beast.

From the title, I thought you were talking about one of these

Go to estate sales. Find old school washer and dryer. You’re welcome.

I thought about that after posting.

The only speed queen washer model worth a shite is the TC5 which has the "classic clean" wash which is the old style pre-2018 counter rotating agitator.
The other 3 current models don't get the clothes clean.
DO NOT but a TR7 unless you want to wash your dirty clothes twice to get them clean.

I got a 2016 or 2017 Samsung front loading set at a moving sale in 2017, they still had the warranty. I love it lol can't believe I waited so long to get a modern set. I will continue to get Samsung when one of them finally take a shite.

My bro and my sis each bought speed queen stuff.
Both had the dryer element go out in under 6 mos

Just curious, how often do you check the batteries in your smoke detectors?

I bought the TR7 and DR7 about a year ago. No issues and my clothes have never been cleaner

We bought this one when my wife's "fancy" steam dryer died.
When our old top load may tag washer dies, I'll buy the Speed Queen to match.
The dryer gets clothes almost to hot to wear.

stayed over with this girl one night, noticed she had a tc5. Took a video of it and sent it to my brother. She thought I was the weirdest motherfricker she ever met.
She wasn't wrong.

Our TR5 sucks. Who ever mandated that we switch to this shite needs their arse kicked.

Same here
Whatever the model, they work well.
