Bit of advice from a old man. Find you a mom and pop so they will get to know you and know you medical history. I suggest not deal with a nationwide chain.

I’m very curious about the story because they are not legally allowed to ask a question and you are not required to give an answer

How does the Right To Try Law work that was passed under the Trump Administration? They may be breaking the law.

I used Super 1 here in the Acadiana area as I needed to get the Frontline online pharmacy prescription transferred to save money and no questions were asked regarding the Ivermectin usage. I had also called a local CVS store as the GoodRx app had them listed even cheaper for the Ivermectin and they never asked what it was for.

So point being, if you have a prescription for HCL or Ivermectin, tell the nosey pharmacist to suck it and that it is between my doctor and myself.

This. I find it odd that a pharmacist would intervene.

Right to try is for drugs that have passed Phase 1 but aren’t FDA approved.

At this point, I'm not shocked at much of anything.

It's more because the cost of it is now more than insurances will pay.

Then they should refuse to fill any medicine being used off label. They are crossing a line. It is up to the doctor, not the pharmacist. Use an independent if you can find one. All of you using chain stores, bow for your masters. Anyone that thinks Walmart, CVS, Walgreens etc. has your best interest at heart is sadly mistaken.

The original manufacturer of Ivermectin came out and said it wasn’t safe. Try to explain that away.

Kinda like the guy who invented MRNA vaccines coming out and saying they aren’t safe?

He’s a weird dude. And he’s not a multinational company.

In their defense, they may not have a choice. Their employer tells them what to do or else. They push the vaccine for bonuses. Just like them giving flu vaccines in August or earlier. CDC sent them letters to not give so early as it wears off before flu season. They ignored that CDC recommendation to make sure they made their money before someone else vaccinated the pt.

If a loved one of mine died and were denied a prescription by their doctor, I would sue the pharmacist and the pharmacy. This will happen.

Kroger would not fulfill my HCQ prescription. They gave me the zpack but said the combination of the two was "dangerous".

They fill Z-packs for people on chronic HCQ therapy all the time and have for years. I've called them out on it.

So you took both of them? Thought it was a one or other deal.

Can you describe how you took them and the zpack? Just one of each once a day? For how long, etc? Is there a mg amount on the hcq/ivermectin?

Thanks.

The small pharmas aren't necessarily going to have much if any on hand.

And they are being charged by wholesalers more than insurances reimburse. My wife loses about $30-$50/prescription.

A buddies mom got some from latin America in a small liquid bottle. Not sure how that's taken. He said his mom was told of some Mexican store somewhere that sells it, so he's waiting for her to find out where to get stocked up.

Is that true though? Serious question.

Mike Gallagher, the radio host, said he had this happen to him this past wknd I think. He's fully vaccinated, but a germ a phoebe type, so decided to give it a go as a preventative.

The doctor actually sent it to the wrong place, and he dealt with this scenario. Not sure what place. He called his Dr, and got it sent to the right place. That place had no issue filling it.

You can tell them to piss up a rope. Do you have to tell them if your valtrex is for genital herpes, shingles or fever blisters? Maybe it's being used off label for covid. It's an antiviral.

Relative in upstate NY had her doctor send in an Rx for Ivermectin for an active case of covid, and Walgreens refused to fill it. Bastards!
