Entergy Bills Due Soon OT Poll

Most people’s Entergy bills are due in the next coming few days.
My bill is due on the 9th should I:
A: Make a Payment
B: Hold the Payment Due until the Lights Come on
C: frick Em
FYI: I am expecting the lights back on in about 30-45 days. I live in God’s country of South Lafourche. I appear to have to major structural damage. I just need to fix several windows and a tarp on the roof until roof can be replaced. Internal ceilings need to be replaced.

Since it's energy you have already used then why not if you're not strapped for cash. Now if it's a bill for something you pay for in advance, I'm thinking satellite tv bill, then piss on them.

Just pay it. Don't put bills on the back burner.

Obviously your meter isn't running now so it would be for past energy use.
However if you have levelized bill pay, I can see where you could have a dilemma. I think the easiest way to handle that is just to stop the billing cycles completely until power is restored, then pick back up again where you left off because your consumption should be back to the normal cycle.
From my personal experience, I've never had much luck getting a utility company to prorate me a credit for services. Like the times when you go a day or two without internet and you call them up bitching and complaining, finishing it off with the ole' I'm not paying for these days comment. Next thing you know the bill comes and you've calmed down and realize its not worth the fight or your time to get the 10 bucks you are owed.
Who is gonna get a cable tv/ internet / phone type service credit for this outage?

Don’t be that guy. No one should give Entergy a penny until power is restored.

God’s country? South Lafourche is a dump.

Screw up your credit rating and get late charges tacked on your bill which you WILL have to pay - that'll teach Entergy a lesson!

The best way to get your power on sooner is adding to Entergy’s to do list a disconnect work order for nonpayment of services rendered.
Dumbass.
Dumbass.

So... Don't pay for energy you used last month?

A. What would you like them to do, snap their fingers and fix it instantly?

Right. Because they’re doing absolutely no work to get power back to you. It just happens magically with no people involved or materials

So your answer is to not pay for electricity you've already used? Why don't you just go loot a TV too while you're busy stealing.

Both of these are great ways to insure that you don't get electricity back even when power is restored.
You do you, boo boo.
