Bad news: recall effort losing steam in California.

The mailing of ballots changed the trajectory
Before the mailing, those it was going to be a low turnout election where an angry group was going to voice their displeasure at covid restrictions at the ballot box
Now, Mexican households and college students who were totally not motivated to vote or were even aware of the recall are going to vote.
It’s enraging that the governor can use his office to juice turnout among his supporters

It is impossible for him to be recalled with the amount of mail in voting. It simple can’t happen

It's California, I don't care. Changing the governor isn't going to change anything in that state. It's a one party state and will be until it implodes. Let them own it, they can choke on it.

I don’t actually live in MV, btw. It’s the nearest main town so that’s why I put it as my location on here.
Btw, what are your thoughts on the remodel of Dana point harbor?

That's not how recall votes work here. Question 1. Recall Newsom : Yes or No. Question 2. vote for new governor
If question 1 doesn't pass it's all irrelevant, if it does, then anyone but Newsom will be governor.
