Heading straight to the airport after lunch today.

Skimmed through the planning thread but didn't see a lot of Vegas talk. I know a lot of people have said they will either be in Las Vegas for the long weekend or traveling through there on their way to Pasadena.

What are your plans while there? Where will you watch the game? I will taking out a second mortgage on my house at the Circa sportsbook to start the day but want to find somewhere unique for Kickoff, almost too many places to choose from

Also anyone that's already down there, what are the covid restrictions like? Wide open? masks/negative test requirements, etc?

Here's where the Alumni Association does the watch parties. Might be a haul from the strip though.

I had planned to be in Las Vegas for the game. But I canceled the trip a couple weeks ago amid Covid concerns, and the sneaking suspicion some bad shite was going to happen with a hurricane, and here we are. There’s no way I could have left with all that’s going on right now.

Heading to Vegas tomorrow. Probably going to watch a game at one of the sportsbooks.

Just curious, why would you go all the way to Vegas and not make the extra hop on over to LA to be at the game?

Man y’all worry too damn much about covid restrictions. It’s not as strict as the news leads you to believe. Go see for yourself.

Had this trip planned before it occurred to me that we would be playing in the Rose bowl nearby.

Also I've been to LA a number of times and think it's a great place, but it's so big that it warrants its own trip separate from the football game. I think all going will have a great time but being in Vegas for opening CFB weekend is not a bad consolation

The Alumni Association spot, PT’s Ranch, is a bit of a haul from the Strip, but they’re good folks. I will be watching from somewhere on the Strip, and am willing to meet up with others if we get a consensus. I’ve had fun at Tilted Kilt before. Watched 2019 Bama there and 2020 Auburn

I'm in Vegas now and will be watching the game wherever with PsychTiger.

I wanted to go, but I'm in town for a knife show that happens Labor Day weekend every year here in Vegas.

Just got in earlier, playing poker today and tomorrow, knife show Fri and Sat, watch the Tigers win Sat night, fly back to DFW Sunday morning.

Gonna be a great weekend.
