Considering the state of things in Australia a year later – with people being dragged out of their homes by Covid gestapo, Vax-entration camps being built to house dissenters, and anti-vax or anti-lockdown speech considered to be a crime of the highest order – their bar for “serious offenses” might be a little to easy to clear.

How could you ever turn back? When they can freely access AND change information they don’t like? Sure hope that doesn’t happen in an election….

True, but the government has made it harder to organize by basically banning communication between citizens. They will have to rise up the old fashioned way.

I used to work for a US company that had an Aussie subsidiary that I visited several times per year. I'm reminded of a conversation I had with one of them who was attempting to chide me for owning guns and WTF did I need them for? I pointed out that they ensure our freedom. He literally laughed and said, I'm free and I don't have guns.

I corrected him saying - you're not free, you simply live with a currently permissive government. If/when that government is no longer permissive what recourse do you have? None. ergo you're not free.

I imagine you could derive a good feeling about yourself, knowing you'll never be compared to/treated like the pandemic.

Like the $80 billion Afghans abandoned? 2nd Amendment types need to give up the " if they had guns" mantra. It's a bit more complex.

They voluntarily gave up their firearms.

And now, hindsight proves that was a miscalculation.

Who could have possibly seen this coming?

Australians need to be more creative since they surrendered their weapons.

Either way, they need to start perishing their leaders immediately.

So did the Afghans that Conservatives are White Knighting for. " Who knew that the Taliban would slaugher us, brutally repress our women , destroy our economy, set up a backwards Islamic state , etc .....? " Who knew

Only if they had weapons.

It really isn’t, at least not in Australia.

Honest question - what's complex about it?
