As President he should be there. The optics of not being there even with how the past two weeks have been would be catastrophic for whatever remaining support he has.
That being said I don’t know how I would react if I were a family member and saw him.

He's already been told to stay away from the 9 /11 ceremonies by family members of first responders. That scene would be ugly when he stepped up to the microphone to speak about honoring those that were murdered.

Yeah because the thing I'd be thinking is his apparent choice to avoid any skirmishes in the streets by foolishly relying upon the Taliban to secure the various perimeters and security checkpoints, for the perceived reason of avoiding political fallout. It wasn't rocket science. Biden made conscious choices that were likely the proximate cause of loss of American life.

I ‘d be very surprised if Mush Brain or any of the military leadership show up.I think some of the family members are going to go beserk on them.I’d love to see them humiliated actually.

I can’t even imagine how you go through the amount of carnage to bring back whatever you can find. Hopefully they were in the outer blast area and we brought most of the remains home.
