Even if everybody is vaccinated having 80-100k people packed into a stadium won’t stop the spread.

So your son hasn’t passed along to you that getting the vaccine doesn’t make you immune to contracting Covid, passing it to others, or actually dying from it? Surely you and your son know this , so please tell me what good the vaccine card is going to do for people in Tiger Stadium.

You are the bullshitter. Hammond and Baton Rouge were full a week ago, hospitals are going to extremes to keep staff who are burned out.

fricking idiot. I have a relative that is the charge nurse at the OLOL Children’s and another that is a nurse manger at Baptist. You are lying through your fricking teeth son.

Covid is horrible.

But, do you really think Covid spreads easily at open air stadiums?

If so, why aren't we seeing surges in every community that has football games or soccer games around the world?

Seriously? Did we have surges all of last year around these outdoor functions?

No, we did not.

I will tell you what will happen. For all of those that would show up at the game, that happen to be positive, but now go join a house party, the spread there will be much worse than the game.

C'mon people.

All of those rioters died last summer, right?

I know of 4 people (friends of friends) in the last 2 weeks between the ages of 32-39 that were put in ICU and passed away

So you know 4 of 217 total death in age 30-39 group since Covid started 1.5 years ago? bullshite!

After spending a week with my MIL in the ICU at Oschner New Orleans two weeks ago I can tell you as 100% fact this is not true.

Worry about yourself, Karen. I cant believe that Louisiana has become a liberal melting pot. Where are my Cajun Patriots?

I have relatives at the Lake, at Oschners and in Hammond. Guess they’re all lying. There are a few nurses I was told not wanting to take the vaccine, but it’s because they suffer from something and fear the shot.

99.98% of people who get it survive so those people could’ve contracted it and almost all not die.

So TD’s anchoring this to kill the debate. Good luck with that. I warned TD this vaccine would be mandated because of the seriousness of the new COVID variant. They anchored that thread to.

Yeah, I’m not convinced you give a shite about me and in truth I prefer it that way. I didn’t get vaxxed for you or anyone, only me. I don’t like the new rules but I realize they are what they are and defying them is not a hill I’m willing to die on.

Don’t give me the “they’re doing this for you” bullshite.

RSV is the reason many beds are taken up, not COVID. And they are not full. They are still admitting and discharging as normal. You refuse to acknowledge the overwhelming presence of RSV that is taking up more beds than COVID and is likely leading to your “full” assessment.

Now that you mention that, my kids pediatrician did say RSV was going around like crazy. Thank you for reminding me and another valid point to this argument.
