The vast majority of people I know that stayed in our hometown and haven’t left are pretty much who I expected. Married others we went to HS with, go to Orange Beach every year for a “vacation”, live in some cookie cutter DSLD shite where you get to choose the shade of beige you want your house and which side you want your garage on; overall I feel pretty bad for a majority of them.

It’s good to get out in the world and explore a bit. Have some new experiences.

You sound awesome :/

I’ve lived all over the world, and while that ain’t my cup of tea, more power to them

We found the guy who used to get beat up in school.

You can still live in your hometown and have new experiences. Everyone is different. And you act like cookie cutter houses are only in "hometowns".

I’ve seen enough of the rest of the world to know it’s shite. Which is why I came back.

Glamorous city life is built on illusion.

They have love, a home, and expendable income. Yeah, what a friggin' nightmare.
