I guess we don't have enough interest anymore to have individual threads for each episode.
Yes this show is still on.

Yeah I guess they don't get up unless they have something to go after. But, that would mean that all of the soldiers died at roughly the same time I would think.
If nothing else, the storyline between Maggie and Negan should carry the show for a while.
Oh shite. Negan calling Glen a dog to Maggie's face.

The haters will be mad but this episode has been really good. I just hope this show can keep this up until the end.

That suit just happened to fit Eugene.
At least they didn't do the predictable thing and have Negan save Maggie.

Angela Kang spoke to this on Talking Dead. In the comics there are two types of walkers, roaming and lurker. The show features mostly only the roaming walkers. Lurking walkers can go dormant when they don't have any stimulation or food for a long period of time.

OK one big gripe about a fun episode.
Are we to understand that meridian is so close to Alexandria/Hilltop that they can just walk there? And Maggie just never came to visit or made contact outside of the letters in the woods? And the Alexandrians/saviors/whisperers/etc knew nothing about it?
And it’s this supposed land of milk and honey?
C’mon...

I liked the first episode. The Maggie backstory makes no sense since they decided to "kind of forget" Georgi and whatever her people were, but the mission through the DC metro and the Commonwealth intro were solid.
23 episodes to go.

Do we need another thread for the AMC+ crowd? We are an episode ahead and I don't want to spoil anything..

Leave a well supplied, and seemingly unlooted army base behind due to a manageable number of walkers?
Check.
Go down an unlit tunnel that turns out "shockingly" to be filled with walkers and then blocked at the end?
Check.
10 or 15 years into the zombie apocalypse and these type of decisions are still being made?
These episodes make it clear that the group we've followed through this series are lucky to be alive. We know from all three series now that they're bad at this. Other groups have fared far better.

I'm glad they didn't continue with the Super Judith nonsense, though they probably will at some point. I can suspend disbelief for most things, but the 65 pound little girl being a super badass sword master is just too absurd to overlook.

I quit watching when Rick left and Carl died...

Is Michonne still alive on the show, because someone else is taking her Commonwealth plot line?
Posted on 8/23/21 at 8:57 am to PsychTiger
she’s still alive technically but the actress left the show. The character joined up with a large group pretty clearly heading to a large settlement though so who knows
It seems obvious that she will be present at the commonwealth but they need the actress back to do that
