This statement reflects an ignorance of the history of Christianity.
Don’t go into crazyville here. It is vastly more dangerous to be a Christian in an Islamic state than to be a Muslim in a majority Christian nation.

It isn’t deflecting. Your talking about what we can control with 2,500 troops and bombing. That isn’t leaving. We’ve delayed our leaving by almost 6 months. That isn’t overnight. Everyone knew we were leaving.
All this right wing yapping is deflection from the objective fact that the Afghan government dissolved, it’s leaders fled, it’s security forces abandoned and the only way the US or anyone else could control the situation is to stay and fight.
And so now right wingers are bitching that we aren’t staying and fighting.
And I’m calling you out.

Well, Klark, we either leave or we don’t.
How many fricking times do you have to be told it's not that we left, but how we left?
Are you incapable of even the most basic ability to understand context?

But it is objectively true that Islamic states do not allow free religion. There are a lot of good Lebanese Christians in Louisiana. We’re better for them having moved here, and so are they.

We literally left overnight without telling anyone you disingenuous frick.

This is utter horseshite and you know it. The issue is we pulled our troops out before our civilians, and left a shitton of military equipment there.

Who here is saying that? fricking quote them jackass.

You are so utterly full of shite. You really are a zealot aren't you?

Sure, but that matters little for the argument I was making.

All I’m seeing written here is that we should have not actually left. Some right wingers talk about how well things were going with a smaller deployment and others are talking about air support. Neither is “leaving.”
Some talk about “sudden,” but the objective truth is that Trump signed a deal to turn the country over to the Taliban in May. It’s August. Sounds like we held off a little longer.
And if you dispute what Trump actually did, if he wasn’t turning the country over to the Taliban, why the hell did he sign the deal DIRECTLY WITH THE TALIBAN! He didn’t sign the deal with the Afghan government or its security force leader. He signed the deal with the Taliban. Trump acknowledged the Taliban as the party otherwise in control of the country.

fisticuffs? or that over politicized mumbo jumbo you posted?

What the frick does this have to do with the complete and utter failure that is occurring right now?
Did Trump mandate we remove our military in the dead of night without telling our allies, *before* we evacuated civilians?
Did Trump mandate the President disappear for days at a time while American citizens were unable to be evacuated?
Did Trump mandate that the US military not be allowed to go outside the wire to rescue citizens while other NATO countries were doing it the entire time?

Your suggestion is that Biden should have battled the Taliban for future control of Afghanistan.
Nope. Nothing I have said would ever lead anyone capable of logical thought to come to this conclusion. My suggestion is that we bomb them into submission, like Trump did. Not battle them. You're either being obtuse, or you're an idiot.

Yep. We were some assholes. About 4-7 centuries ago.
Now. Not so much. We maybe racist still. But just a little bit. Nobody’s throwing black folks off cliffs for “practicing “ their blackness.
Here we wail about micro-aggressions. What’s an Afghanistan micro aggression? Gang raping but not killing an infidel woman??
