Halo infinite launching without campaign co-op or forge

Each season is 3 months so fans will be waiting half a year for the full game

If this doesn’t ship with a really good ranked MP with a lot of popular playlists (TS, 2v2, BTB, No radar comp, etc) it’s going to die so fast and Halo will be dead, officially.
Really needs at least the announcement of a BR to be huge with today’s playerbase too, though it can still do OK without it if the MP is great.
I trust 343 to do neither of these things

343 has just never been able to do anything right and it’s very sad. I’m sure people working on the game are trying but it’s just a joke at this point. For me personally I don’t really care about co-op campaign. Just seems like they need a change of leadership. How can you be proud of the franchise at this point? Hasn’t really been relevant for a decade.
I know 343 wouldn’t be able to make a BR so no forge sucks because I was looking forward to someone building a cool BR experience in forge.
I can’t stop thinking about how laughable it is that we thought this game was launching at the end of 2020 because obviously it wasn’t even close. Just blows my mind that other companies can pump out games all the time and 343 can’t even do it in half a decade. They are supposed to be a flagship studio.

You are correct. I should have said something along the lines of never released a good fully finished game. 4 had no ranked multiplayer. 5 had shite campaign and no forge. MCC was literally just a broken game that didn’t get fixed for a long time.

343 has the complete financial backing of fricking Microsoft and they still can’t get this right. Microsoft needs to cut ties with them and bring Bungie back.

A few really small changes to 4 and it could have been a really solid game
Descope (how the frick did they never change this?)
No sprint and better scaled maps for no sprint
In game rank system
A few playlists without the abilities available at launch
No jet pack

What's so bizarre to me is that they aren't trying to reinvent the wheel here. This is a FPS. Quite literally the most milquetoast, risk adverse video game genre in existence.

For real. There is nothing special about this game from what I can tell from the flight. If they were building a massive BR experience and hit bumps along the way I’d understand more. But they are literally making 4v4 and big team battle. The most standard thing ever. I really just can’t stand it.
And to the other comment I agree. Honestly thought 4 had a lot of potential but felt like it was a back burner game that was a side project. Oh wait. 343 only fricking does halo.

I read an article that the issue is they never tried to figure out. Like they just forgot about it.
The issue is it is an open world, with objectives to be completed. They have not put thought on how to work on those two issues. Bungie had same issue with Destiny, some people differ on if Bungie's solution was correct.
