Cregg you can’t acquit if you admit

I'm sure him committing a recruiting violation is a breach of his contract.

This could get ugly if he decides to burn some bridges. I will always be nervous when former coaches go the legal route.

Burn bridges and never work in football again? Do really think the OL coach knows where the bodies are buried anyway?

Always a possibility.

I think he knows enough to make a lot of people nervous.

He won't get the full $700K owed, but he'll get a little something to go away more quietly.

Absolutely but they'll settle out of court

And if he does anything like that he will never work in football again.

Lol, you don't know shite and either does Cregg. We've fired dozens of assistants over the program's history and none have ratted us out to the NCAA. Get a grip.

O gets some credit for removing and upgrading Cregg, but a nasty lawsuit is a distraction now and reminder to all of another failed O hire.

The last guy that did it got money from LSU. He also happens to be the offensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers right now.

So you think there are a thousand assistant football coaches all around the country who could bury their employer with a couple paragraph email but none have ever used it to get a raise or keep their job? Good grief, coaches get fired all the time and it never happens.

Pretty sure it said in his contract he had to recruit, and he sure breached the frick out of that

Ultimately it didn't work out, but LSU's OL did win the award for best O-line in 2019 while we went 15-0 during a historic season.
