Seems inevitable, cases are skyrocketing, hospitals full, schools are already full of cases, and we do have ole JBE to consider. So to play devils advocate, why not do it now?? If we know it's coming, shutting down now keeps the top of the curve down, and maybe a shorter lock down time.

For the record, I am 100% against it, and think it will do more harm to our economy, than good to the health system, but we the people's opinion doesn't matter much.

Am I missing something? We’re trending down as far as I know.

We were in Florida the past few days and my lord it was so nice to forget COVID existed for a few days. No stupid signs. No masks. And no slimy cocksucker for a governor.

I hope Louisiana does not shut down.

But the fear tactic is pretty strong

Link? Every source is reporting the opposite except the hospitals who refuse to staff adequately

Says who? JBE? Fauci? All the latest data feeds show the exact opposite.

You need to get over yourself & what you think is the best thing for our economy
We have a duty to protect those that are too unfortunate to take care of their own health
It’s not their fault they have COPD from smoking a pack of Marlboro Reds everyday
It’s not their fault they don’t know how to cook & rely on fast & processed foods
It’s not their fault they live in the south where it’s too hot to exercise

As for more cases, all of my friends in the medical field say the numbers are worse and hospitals are full. I do know that a few weeks ago I had a kidney stone removal put off for 3 days because of the hospital covid log jam. That was a long, painful 3 days.

Man, as much as I love freedom, the selfish side of me really misses the lack of traffic on the way to/from work.

It’s funny that you come and post this the day the # of people in the hospital decreases. And the early reports are it will decrease even more tomorrow.
