It is inevitable that we will have to start a major operation soon to get the 15,000 Americans back. I fear that some of them have already been slaughtered. This is just so heartbreaking and as another already said, it’s so shocking that America has done this that it’s almost unbelievable.

Words just don’t describe what we have done. It’s immense on a humanitarian scale and the future implications are endless from a foreign policy and national security perspective.

Maybe we could "Argo frick yourself" a handful or so out of there. Seems more strategic than anything this administration has put together

So this is what it appears they did.
We have to get out of Afghanistan, let's make a list.
First let's get the troops out.
Second let's get the American people out.
Third let's get the American weapons out because certainly we don't want those weapons in the hands of the Taliban who will sell or turn over to the Russians or China.

Then when they realize they did it backwards, they "stand by their decision" and blame Trump and the Afghan people.
