And we’re supposed to believe that a 37 year old LeBron James, who’s missed significant portions of two of the last three* seasons due to injuries, is going to lead the Lakers to a championship with one of the oldest rosters in league history?

*Lone season he made it through got cut short with a 5 month layoff in the middle of it.

The Nets are +240 to win the title.

The Lakers are +400.

No one is making you believe they’re supposed to win the title. It’s possible, but no idea who is making you feel like that is guaranteed.

?????

For the Mavs, Jazz, Suns etc., it’s possible. It’s possible for any team basically from 5-12 in the NBA.

Those odds put the Lakers on the shortlist though. Pressure is on them, Brooklyn, the Clippers, and Milwaukee. Those are 1-4.

You gonna compare Kobe, Wade, and Lebron at age 35&36 or are we supposed to just look past this critical information and act like you’re raising a competent point?

Lebron has taken better care of his body than damn near any other athlete in history.

I also think he eats a bowl of stem cell cheerios every morning, but that's just my personal hunch.

At any rate, we've never really seen anybody like Lebron and we know/care more about athlete recovery/health than ever before.

I wouldn't bet against him. He only really needs to be healthy for the playoffs to be a contender anyway.

I’m all for shitting on Lebron - because it is fun. But are you trying to say Lebron playing at a high level on a contending team at the age his peers are retiring is a knock on him?

Please for the love of god, talk about something other than Lebron James.

Where did he touch you as a child? Did he stand you up for an autograph?

There has to be something deeper. This is borderline insane how much you cry about a basketball player

Kobe was playing on a repaired achilles and Wade's game was always never going to work once he lost a step.

That said, Lebron's cliff is coming. We've already seen it drift negatively the last few years.
