They're awful. They're religious nuts. They're medieval and everything wrong with the concepts of liberty. But they're a group of largely Pashtun Afghans taking their country back from a corrupted, unresponsive political class controlled by foreign interests. We could use some of that here in America right now.

No doubt you lot in this thread are the same ones that were shrieking for Bill Maher to be cancelled when he basically made the same exact remark about the 9-11 terrorists.

They have known from the beginning that the United States will not start mass extermination, so in the end they know they will win.

"Yes, Germany was back then a democracy, before us and we’ve been plundered and squeezed dry. No more. What does democracy or authoritarian state mean for those international hyenas? They don’t care at all! They are only interested in one thing. Are you willing to be plundered? Yes or no? Are you stupid enough to keep quiet in the process? Yes or no? And, when a democracy is stupid enough not to stand up, then it is good! But when an authoritarian state declares “You do not plunder our people any longer”, neither from the inside or outside, then that is bad. In reality, money rules in these countries. They talk about press freedom when in fact these newspapers have one owner and the owner is, in any case, the sponsor. This press then shapes public opinion, these political parties don’t have any differences at all, like before with us. You already know the old political parties. They were all the same. Then people must think that especially in these countries of freedom and wealth, there should exist a very comfortable life for its people, but the opposite is the case. In these countries, in the so-called “Democracies”, the people are by no means the main focus of attention. What really matters is the existence of this group of “Democracy makers”. That is, the existence of a few hundred of giant capitalists who own all the factories and shares and who, ultimately, lead the people. They are not interested at all in the great mass of people, they are the only ones who can be addressed as international elements because they conduct their business everywhere. It is a small, rootless, international clique that is turning the people against each other, that does not want them to have peace. They can suppress us! They can kill us, if you like! But we will not capitulate!" -- Adolf Hitler

In the minds of those sick fricks that actually carries out the attack, yes.

The financiers and masterminds of the attacks wanted to gain a bigger influence in the Middle East (that can be looked at many different ways depending on who you think masterminded and paid for the attacks).

That happened in November. Cemented by the Constitution and inauguration in January.

What do you think about this Open Border Policy?

Lets allow some of those Taliban migrants in and release them all in Washington DC.

I can think of several ways in which they could improve that community.

Afghanistan's greatest asset is strong willed men who are willing to engage in extreme violence in order to protect their culture.

We may not agree with their moral reasoning, but you have to admire men like that.

All ^^^ true. What's messed up is you could have asked any person on this board several weeks ago when it was apparent the faux Afghan army wasn't going to fight the Taliban if US military hardware should be disabled/destroyed/retrieved and 90% would have probably said, don't leave functioning US military hardware for the Taliban.

Lots of folks agreeing but doing nothing of the sort, just continuing to post about it on a message board.
