I didn’t plan on anything. I got the vaccine. And if I get it I am pretty much guaranteed not to have to go to the hospital to fight it. So I guess my plan is to just wait it out if I get it. Btw. I’m pro choice on the vax. Pro life on the babies

my wife discovered a way to get scripts for Ivermectin, Hydroxychloriquin, and Azithromycin. Now we have that stashed if needed.

Care to share that secret?

I clicked on your link at the bottom and it was not obvious to me that it contained this info.

I am 83 wife is 84 - we got both vaccinations and will probably get the booster ASAP. We've been taking Zinc, D3, and other assorted vitamins and supplements for over a year now. But I am convinced there would be no problem with taking HCQ or Ivermectin should I get any symptoms. But I know of no source for it. Feed Store ???

If I were under 60 with the physical health and condition I was in at that time, I would be hesitant to take the vaccine myself. But, at our age, and with the overall degradation of my health for the past 10 years (two stage 4 cancers and COPD) I felt any brush with Covid would be a death sentence.

I would like to have some of these 'unapproved' treatments available immediately if either of us should show early symptoms.

Personal responsibility includes buying insurance, in case unplanned things happen. It also includes purchasing products that have been tested against failure, like Toyota brakes. It also includes purchasing products from companies that, should their product damage your life unintentionally, you reserve the fight to,legal recourse.

Do what are being called vaccines meet that third requirement? I believe in personal responsibility, and risk assessment.

I’ll get better or I’ll die. Based on my health, more likely than not I’ll get better. Pretty simple, huh?

Immune boost chewable at night, stretch my legs a couple miles a day in the bright sunlight.

You are on your freakin own to figure the shite out if you get sick. The hospital will provide a bed for you to die on and not much more

Are you a moron?

Oxygen, respiratory therapy, steroids, countless other supportive meds, monitor everything, intubation of indicated, feeding tube if indicated, medical, iv fluids, etc, etc, etc.

Listen to this guy. He knows what he is talking about.

What the frick. Seriously what in the frick.

Doctors, nurses and other Healthcare providers risked their lives before the vaccine. Even with vaccine there is a small risk.

I see they did it for nothing. Just to provide a bed.

Moron.

Had covid last month (July 2021):

Unvaccinated, overweight (not obese), pushing 60

Fever 101-102.5, Extreme fatigue (could barely lift head off pillow).

Day 2 symptomatic took 12mg ivermectin.
Started HCQ, Zpack (2 first day) and Zinc (got prescription from American Frontline Docs).

Was fever free by day 4. Fatigue free by day 5. Functioning at 100% by day 7.

Had antibody test 2 days ago and am swimming in antibodies.

KEY INFO: Take these therapeutics early symptomatic (first 3 days).

If you wait, their effect is lessened quite a bit.

Alternate therapeutic: get the antibody infusion. It works pretty well. You have to hunt around for someone that will give it to you.

Of note: My July 2021 covid bout was my 2nd go round with covid. I know you are not supposed to get it twice but I did. Had it over Christmas/New Years 8 months ago.

I talked to a friend who is up the food chain in a biotech company and is an immunologist/geneticist. He said that my round 2 must have been a very different variant (probably not delta as it is relatively similar to Alpha - so maybe the new lamda). He said my antibodies from round 1 should have been good enough to ward off alpha or delta.

My round 1 experience was a bit different. I did not have ivermectin, hcq, zpack on hand when I became symptomatic. I did get a prescription but did not start the protocol until the end of day 5 symptomatic. By then, covid had done a number on me.

Fever 101-103. Extreme fatigue. Lung (coughing) started day 7. Our doc wanted me to get an xray to make sure I did not have pneumonia. Only place that would do an xray and get results back quickly on New Years eve was the ER at a nearby hospital.

So 40 hrs later after a bunch of poking and prodding and 3 doses of remdisivir (did nothing for me), I was told I had covid (already new that), I did not have pneumonia and I had no blood clots (they were obsessed with blood clots). They kick me out as they need my bed for a sicker patient.

Fever free by Jan 2. Fatigue and lung issue free by Jan 8. Back at 100% by Jan 21. It was a 30 day ordeal to get back to 100%. I was back at work by day 18 but not operating at top efficiency.

The question is, what effect did taking ivermectin, hcq, zpack end of day on day 5 symptomatic have? I did not recover quickly after taking them, but, did they keep covid from having a more detrimental effect on me? Not sure that can be answered.

Thanks Schmelly I've put out your same plan on TD earlier also stressing to get VitD levels done and if less than 50 start taking Vit D to beef levels up.

Ive been vaccinated twice with Pfizer but its been announced its only 55% effective against Delta but that just maybe CDC BS.

I don't plan on getting any more boosters with an experimental vax.

I've been researching where to get monoclonal antibodies.

My hubby is high risk (high blood pressure, asthma, hypothyroid low vitamin D) and refuses the shot. Good thing he's not overweight. I got the shot, so I'm more concerned about him. We think he's had a kidney stone in the past few weeks. Looks like it finally passed, but he's been in bed for 2 weeks.

It’s sad that you trumpkins would rather take illegal horse medicine and fish cleaner than a safe 100% effective vaccine made by Biden

My folks and I got the covid and the doctor we have seen for 20 years kicked us to the curb. We got tested outside his office while he was on vacation and he then refused to treat us. Not only did we get no medical care when we needed it the most but we now have to find a new doctor.

I’m going to throw in my 2 cents. I am a midlevel provider that works for a large system. I work in family medicine and have autonomy. I have been in practice for 6 years. I have been using Ivermectin. In the beginning, I used HCQ. I ended up switching to ivermectin so I didn’t have to be as concerned about QT prolongation with HCQ and drug-drug interactions. I am not against using HCQ. I have found great efficacy with Ivermectin. I see approximately 20-25 patients per day. I ALSO put people on prednisone and either doxycycline or azithromycin. IF this regimen is started between days 1-4 it is effective. I have not had ONE hospitalization with this method in 18 months. Of course, I get patients that come in (yes, I allow people in my office because even covid patients NEED an actual PHYSICAL EXAM) too late in the disease process and this regimen will not work. I try like hell to keep them out of the hospitals but have had hospitalizations in high risk patients when they wait too long to call or come in with symptoms.

With all of that being said, I think it’s absolutely absurd that we do nothing for people. Hell, even with the flu, we give Tamiflu or Xofluza. WHY does this have to be different??? We did get “direction” from the powers that be…. Providers should EITHER prescribe nothing for treatment OR send for antibody infusion.

Needless to say, my collaborating physician read one of my notes and found out I was prescribing Ivermectin. I got a lashing and a warning. They do not want us prescribing it. “There are no studies”. I told him I had information I could send him to read. He said no need because he listens to our inpatient Infectious disease doctors, who are also doing next to nothing when people are admitted besides administering oxygen.

I’m still prescribing it because well, my job in family medicine is TO KEEP PEOPLE OUT of the hospital and reduce cost, right??? Well, at least you’d think so.

I think I had it in April of last year.

My doctor did too, though the test was negative. At the time the tests were all over the place.

Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. I’ve treated plenty of people who came in unable to breath after taking HCQ/ivermectin/whatever else. Most get better with a little oxygen and steroids but not before feeling like they got hit by a train.

“I should have just gotten the damn vaccine” or some variation thereof is probably the most common phrase uttered in American hospitals over the last 4 months or so.
