I’ve searched, but even DuckDuckGo is eaten alive with Pravda sources.

My understanding is that it’s ~2,700 pages. I’m not sure who I would trust to summarize something this massive.

God only knows what all is in it and the clowns voting on it certainly don’t, that’s a given.

My question would simply be, why didn’t the republicans who are indicating they are okay with this bill step up to support Trump’s infrastructure initiatives when they had the votes and wouldn’t have had a Trojan horse bill spilling out reconciliation measures that would give the damn leftists what they want anyway, regardless of what’s in the bill?…

They are still holding to Queen Nancy's decree - we have to pass it to find out what's in it.

It's around 50% SMALLER than what Trump proposed.

And now Trump is saying he doesn't want this approved, even though he proposed something much more expensive.

I wonder if the Congressional Queen will state ... 'We need to pass it to find out what's in it' again.

Maybe it's much more different than what he was proposing?

With only about 10% going to ACTUAL INFRASTRUCTURE as opposed to Trump's plan, which was almost all infrastructure spending.

It's 2700 pages of gobblety goop. The first few bills were fairly easy easy to read an I don't think they liked that. They took a lot more time on this one to hide what they were really saying. Every paragraph had several cross references to other sections of gobblety goop.

No way in hell any of them know 10% of what's in the bill.

I want you to go to Webster's Dictionary and look up the definition of "infrastructure". Then proceed to tell me what percentage of this bill goes to infrastructure. The breakdowns I have seen say it is only a 20% infrastructure bill at the max. It is more of a climate change bill and a pork bill.

BTW, Trump would have never passed a $2 trillion infrastructure bill. That was all for show.

From the link above, the bulk of this bill seems to be slush-funds, political payouts, select university payoffs and a big chunk of social justice spending which probably will never actually land at its indicated target.

The actual infrastructure spending I can see summarized in that bill is minute and qualified by factors that will ramp up the cost astronomically.

It also seems to be a priority in this bill to rain down taxes, tolls, fees and surveillance on Americans' travel habits. So, per usual, the left taxes individuals, hands out the money to their cronies and hurts small business and communities.

Every republican who has pushed this forward needs to be removed from office as soon as possible.

Our esteemed politicians should have to read the whole thing and pass a test for comprehension too before being allowed to vote on it.

Gotta vote on it to see what’s in it, I’m sure.

Anyone who uses that as a serious argument should probably be drawn and quartered.

Check out this thread ...

... I think DDG uses "Bing" searches. There are some being worked on that do not not just anonymize Google and Bing searches.

HERE are some things from that link:

The CBO Score Should End Republican Support for the Infrastructure Deal

"The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has released its cost estimate of the bipartisan infrastructure deal. The CBO, like the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget two days ago, found that only about half of the $550 billion in new spending is paid for by the legislation."

In addition to a pilot program to determine how the US Govt will track you (in your vehicle) ...

* $175 million for Alaska (Murkowski) pork projects

* Bipartisan ‘Infrastructure’ Bill Doubles Annual Funding for Commission Run by Manchin’s Wife

* So-Called ‘Infrastructure’ Bill Includes Racial Quotas for Broadband

NOTE: ONLY $110 billion Roads, Bridges, and Major Projects - WE WILL SEE A SEPARATE BILL LATER TO SPEND MORE ON THIS (reauthorization of Highway Bill) - Which should be the TOP item in this bill.

More info on tracking in bill and forthcoming...

"Automakers would then have another two years to comply and implement tech that detects and prevents drunk driving...

While the provision doesn’t dictate what type of tech has to be in these vehicles, industry experts believe that companies developing camera-based driver monitoring systems (DMS) stand to benefit the most."

Includes

“equity” oriented grants

" $50 million for Central Utah Project Completion
$5 billion for low/zero emissions school buses
$2.5 billion for a carbon storage commercialization program
$21.5 billion for clean energy demonstrations
$75 million for the Denali commission
$14.2 billion for the Federal Communications Commission
$3.4 billion for the Federal Buildings Fund
$3.5 billion for Indian Health Service "

"$250 million for reducing truck emissions at ports. A $500 million grant for the Healthy Streets Program allows cities to "provide funding to deploy cool and porous pavements and expand tree cover to mitigate urban heat islands, improve air quality, and reduce flood risks.” "

"The bill includes $75 million for the Open Challenge and Research Proposal pilot program, which provides grants for proposals to “research needs or challenges identified or determined as important by the Secretary.” And it proposes a “federal system funding alternative advisory board” that must appoint “advocacy groups focused on equity,” "

"There are also some kickbacks for politicians tucked into the bill. The bill grants $1 billion for the Appalachian Regional Commission and $150 million for the Delta Regional Authority. Conveniently, West Virginia Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin’s wife is co-chairwoman of the Appalachian Regional Commission."

"Senators are negotiating an amendment addressing the taxation of cryptocurrency"

"It includes $7.5 billion to build electric vehicle charging stations. "

Idiot ND senator Cramer was exclaiming in excitement about how there is $500 billion for infrastructure... its a 1.2 trillion bill, where is the other $700 billion going?

This is why FOX News is a joke, they didn't probe him on this and just let him shill.

That was what was going to happen UNTIL the only GOP with some **** (TN Freshman Senator Haggerty) forced that they follow regular order:
