Listening to the media, you would think 50% of positive cases end up in hospital

If you are younger than 50, less than .01%. It shoots up fast after then though.

Listening to the media, I haven’t heard about any asymptomatic cases, and I haven’t heard about any cases that aren’t hospitalized, with the exception of 2 celebrities. The celebrities were chosen because they’re begging people to get the shot.

The goal isn’t to spread information. The goal is to use the carrot and stick to herd people.

Everyone in my family got it so 16 people none made it to the hospital. That includes my daughter that’s fully vaccinated and she suffered like the rest of us. I took it the worst at 14 days of fevers and severe leg pains after the virus was gone. The more I walk the less pain in the legs day after day.

If you didn’t have a TV, computer, or phone... would you even know there was a virus, much less a variant?

In Arkansas, low vaccination rate, there is an estimated 23,000 active cases with 1,240 covid positive admissions, 271 of which are on vents.

In NJ, fairly high vaccination rate, there are an estimated 30,000 active cases, 626 hospitalizations, with 47 on vents.

So it appears to be about 2-6%. Of course a lot of people have severe illness at home, many receiving supplemental O2.
