1. Only scoring 3 on Miss State.
2. Barely beating Tulane.
3. Losing to La Tech.

I honestly feel he may have been told to throw it through the uprights on that last play.

I doubt it, but I am clinging to hope.

So if you're up 38 in the third, you have to only run the ball for two full quarters?

Our QB's have little experience and aren't world beaters. They can use all the throwing experience in game situations they can get.

Go ask OU and USC about dominating a football game and continuing to air it out with the entire first string still in the game.

Had to pass, because a running play would be perceived as “running up the score.”

I agree but that doesn't make it any less embarrassing.

Eh,maybe, maybe not. Lets face it;had we won 77-0 there would have been threads about running up the score, why did we show everything, etc.

I'm having trouble understanding how throwing the football is embarrassing.

I've thought about it a few minutes and seriously think the first responder is correct.

But, if you must know, I would be embarrassed about a pass thrown under zero pressure (no defender within 12 yards) with my feet planted to a wide open standing still Jared Mitchell in the middle of the field that passed ten yards over his head.

Other than that, it's not like JLee is a Heisman trophy winner at this point.
