I bet JJ Redick poisoned him.
It's not like Dallas is a finals team and Luka takes most of the shots.
He would be way more involved in N.O.
We got to trade or build thru the draft because it is apparent we not a preferred FA destination.
Apparently not much difference in 72 vs 90 mil when you a millionaire.

Because of a thing called tax

also Dallas > NO in terms of city, size, and contending.

Tax difference would be nowhere near that much money. If I had to guess, our last year was a team option.

I'm glad he did, he's not worth the contract NO offered him.

Wouldn’t surprise me if JJ told him to stay far away from us. When you’re getting 72 mil, 18 mil may not be worth your peace of mind and uprooting your family.

Nope. Damn near impossible to be a fan of a team with such a narrow path to winning it all. NBA blows.

The maximum loss by LA state tax would be 6% of $18 million. It would likely be less than that because of deductions from Federal tax paid and other deductions. So after 6% reduction, the $18 million becomes $16, 920,000. Thats not a huge reduction. Also, he saves money on property tax if he sells a home in Texas and buys similar property value in LA.

Taxes are not a big consideration in most of these free agent decisions, IMO.

It could just be as simple as Dallas is a better winning situation than the Pels.

Would he though? He is basically the 2nd option offensively for Dallas (Kristaps can't create his own shot any longer).

Zion and B.I. are going to average 20-25 per each.

Jonas will probably get 10-12 attempts

And it is safe to say the starting p.g. will average 10 shots per game as well.

There are probably not as many attempts out there for THJ as one might think.

Not to mention that the taxes are based on where the games are played. So, half of the games are taxed not in their home location. So, the tax effect would be about half of that.

Did this make you feel better?
Find the FA you think is worth 18 Mil & see if he’s even considering the Pelicans.

He said he's glad, weird question to ask since he told you the answer before you asked.

Are you retarded?
I meant making the post, not Hardaway declining the deal.
You have a bird dick for a brain.
