65+ were right to panic there for a while.
The older ones that got the vaccine 7-8 months ago probably should still worry. Might be a case for the booster.
Wish we could get stats on WHICH vaccine they had and when they got it.
Under 70 and vaccinated....you are probably okay.
Under 60 and vaccinated.....worry more about dying from a bear attack on the way to work.
But this chart clearly shows that the major problem is people under 60 that aren't vaccinated. The elderly are avoiding hospitalization. They are also far more likely to have been vaccinated.
The primary issue facing our region is overburdened hospitals. That would be reduced if more people under 60 got the vaccine. Masks won't do a damn thing about it. Vaccines will.

What is the source of that chart btw?

The problem what that chart is I’d bet you most of the unvaccinated never had COVID and have zero immunity.
Unvaccinated is a ruse, as it does not differentiate between those that have natural immunity through a previous COVID infection.

I’m willing to bet that if you dig into this you’ll find that they aren’t “overburdened” but that they’re “understaffed.”
Adding staff costs money, but pushing fear-porn about a “pandemic” gets you big government funding.

The problem is not beds, it’s a shortage of staff. Everywhere. Staff up, problem solved.

Yep, why this is still a thing is mind boggling.
