@TigahJay

"You pretty much put the good teams in two pods and the shitty teams in two pods…might as well start relegating like the premier league"

LSU, OU, Texas, A&M, Bama, Auburn, Florida, and Georgia need to know they have a fair chance at making it to the SEC Championship game.

Imbalance schedules create animosity.

"Not no, but hell no. Ole miss and Mississippi State should be in our pod."

Why?

Why are you so adamant about this?

When was the last time Ole Miss and Mississippi State played for a conference championship?

Then why would you give an unfair chance to them to do so by stacking the deck against them and letting the shite teams have a free path to it? you’re arguing against your own idea and you don’t even know it

"That’s not how it works. The “voting” is a formality. These decisions are made by the main 3-5 leaders inside the conference."

Really?

Please enlighten us.

First off, there is no “us”. It’s just you on this island you’ve built. No one agrees with you in this thread

Secondly, the only thing I need to highlight to prove my point is that the SEC voted 14-0 to add OU and UT. If the voting worked how you naively think it does, then at the very least there would’ve been 1 dissenting team (Texas A&M)

Bama hates this. Why?

Pod C
Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia

I say the hell with Bama. Play Florida and Georgia annually.

Stop focusing on the pods. Focus on the schedule.

What's fair for the top-8? Everything else is the grind.

I'm sticking to my model. I think I have 8 votes going into the closed meeting.

I'll take those odds.

By the way, have you made a proposal yet?

Stay strong LSU.

Don't let Bama bamboozle you.

Bama wants - Auburn, Tennessee and Vandy.

I say "hell no."

Demand the Gumps play - Auburn, Georgia, and Florida annually.

Ever?

So explain to me what you hate about it?

I will try to address all questions.

Pod A
LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas

Pod B
Arkansas, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss

Pod C
Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia

Pod D
Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt

worst in terms of this discussion.

POD's A & C have what looks like the 8 top teams and B & D the 8 weakest. Not to mention stripping LSU of any of the older rivalries and putting them in a POD with a team only in the SEC for the last 10 years and 2 newcomers.

I expect LSU and the two Miss schools plus one other. Arkansas likely maybe OK or A&M.

Keep wishing for your LSU pod. It's not happening in this lifetime.

We win in the West pod - A&M, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Let Auburn, Bama, Florida, and Georgia fight it out in the East.

Don’t like the 4 pod system.
Much prefer two divisions of 8
Move Bama & AU to East and Missouri to the west.
7 division games and rotate 2 games from the East home and away
NO PERMANENT CROSS OVERS

Okay, I'm closing this down.

*Same 9-game model (3-2-2-2). All in-state rivalries protected. Plus Auburn vs. Georgia, Texas vs. Oklahoma.

Pod A
LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas

Pod B
Arkansas, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss

Pod C
Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia

Pod D
Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt

Current vote: 2 For, 62 Against.

That was fun. Forgive me for thinking outside-the-box and being audacious.

Geaux Tigers!

Go 100% SEC schedule. If other schools want to play the SEC they will have to step up and do it in the playoffs. Oh, expand the playoff

The OP is possibly the most imbalanced, least-interesting division of teams possible.
