I’m hearing the majority of the current wave is no longer coming from South America, but Africa, Haiti, Cuba, and other places around the globe. We are basically wide open to anyone and anything. It’s treasonous for our government to be doing nothing about this, and instead encouraging it.

Certainly not Havana. Because they can only escape by the dead of the night in make shift rafts. Or get their heads blown off in a huge minefield, in no mans land to GTMO. Something tells me the makeshift rafts were stopped with curfews.
We would have to take Havana to free them and it will never happen because Russia and China would declare WW3.
