I pity anyone dumb enough to think they could take on a Chimpanzee.
This thing will literally rip your arm off and beat you to death with it. And he may or may not rip your face off before he does so.

I think I’ve settled on a coyote. You are going to get cut tf up but I think if you can get your hands on it you can choke it out, slam it against a wall. It’s going to be a very nasty bloody battle but one winnable by man

Agreed, this thread is dumb. If you went back in our evolution to when we were at the apex of combined intelligence and raw strength we would all be as dumb as oweo but have glorious legs that actually worked.

I think if a man can keep his head and not panic we would have a good chance against any mid size cat or dog/wolf, a lot of these types have only one weapon, while claws hurt if you can avoid most animals mouths you can survive. We can bring all of our extremities into play.

Coyote or bobcat is pretty good answers

Wrong. Somebody has fought off and killed a leopard with his bare hands. I believed this has happened multiple times.
And to the person who said no way to a bobcat, I know someone who had one as a pet who kept it contained and fought off without a lot of trouble.
In this scenario it’s also important to take into account who the human is. Is it an average joe or a Hafþór Björnsson or Nathan Holle?
