Like I said earlier, Sandhagen shouldn't have fought backing up. He should have done more in the clinch. He spent the last three rounds trying to Mayweather a decision. That shite don't work in the Octagon.

I felt it was 3-1 going into the 5th with Cory winning the last.

But the tale of this fight was he had a man with one eye and a bad knee and didn’t finish him.

He fought with zero ferocity. Like you said he was hoping to outpoint him.

No. Do you think there was a chance the fight could have been stopped?

How are we gonna define "trouble" in this context? Because if Dillashaw wasn't in trouble then neither fighter was in trouble.

Neither fighter was in trouble. The first round was clearly tj, 2nd round clearly Corey. 3rd tj. 4-5 were both super close but TJ pushed the pace the whole fight. I don’t think sandhagen moved forward at all.

Having said all of that, Sandhagen should've been able to get the win he just didn't. With how easily TJ controlled his back, I don't know why we shouldn't expect a repeat of their first fight in a Sandhagen/Sterling rematch.

I don't like TJ's chances against either one of those top 2 guys, especially Yan. But I don't like anyones chances against him.

Lol you're saying he was never hurt and then admit that there is a argument that he was.

But you know I don't want to argument with the boards MMA expert.

There are multiple UFC fighters saying they thought Corey won. But I guess you are an expert too.

I think tj vs yan is a great fight. Both guys tough and great striking, although different backgrounds. Only thing to me is we just see TJ guy out a win with a strong fight mentally with all the pressure and then fighting smart with a knee and a bad cut. Then on the other hand yan makes a bonehead mistake that a top level fighter can’t make in the ring.

lol. No problem with that. It's the people acting like it was a robbery. TJ winning is justifiable. Corey winning, would have been too.
He only has himself to blame, s Hou have done more.

Bro you are dumb. Where did I ever say he had him hurt. Read the quote. Are you drunk?

I could see the argument had sandhagen dropped him twice or wobbled him a bunch of times, but nada.

the biggest issue the UFC has is only having three judges dictate the outcome. a very large portion of judges are boxing judges who have been locked into their positions because they have the right last name, they've been judging for decades, etc.

with three judges, all it takes is one of them to completely ruin the outcome of a close fight. the answer is simple, they need more judges. five or seven judges would be ideal and would eliminate the issue of ONE person ruining a decision.

Is this not admitting there is an argument?

You are too dumb to even argue with at this point.

If you take majority of judges for each round, sandhagen wins. Regardless, I still think they should post the scores after each round on a scoreboard so the fighters know where they stand instead of guessing.

Nah then you get some fighters trying to just coast instead of fight not much different than what sandhagen did.

Invicta (female league) does this. they have open scoring and it works pretty well. after each round the judges have 30 seconds to post their scores and everyone is aware of it.

more judges (5-7 instead of 3), and open scoring is not a bad idea.

also, for the comment below about (fighters will coast instead of fighting)... that's not the case. if a fighter is clearly down two rounds in a three round fight, they are going to swing for the fences trying to get a finish in the final round.
