A few years ago I a long walkway and patio.. Surprisingly I got a good deal on the pavers at Lowes (and free delivery on 4 pallets).
Don't skimp on the fancy paver sand, the locking type sand is totally necessary.

polmeric sand w/ mortar after they are set is key after they are placed
