USA women’s soccer turns their back on Sweden

And Sweden gonna beat USA (up 2-0 60’) in the first game of group play. Watching with my 7 year old, I’m rooting with him for the USA and pride of our country. To show him patriotism and pride in his country. However, deep down I’m torn and honestly hope they lose because frick them for the way they feel about our country

I'm wondering if they're intentionally trying to tank the 1st match, so they can then come back and win the gold and act like complete arses.
I guess there's no opening ceremony, but when did the Olympics officially start? Has there even been a torch light yet?

Opening ceremonies are Friday. Soccer and softball always start earlier because of the amount of games they have to play, travel, etc and that lasts longer than the Olympic games

Under normal times, at least in the past, I'd be all over this stuff. But ever since the ATL games, and how the IOCC showed itself to be such worthless low life criminals, my interest has waned considerably.

Wake me up when the winter Olympics start, so I can watch USA hockey finally beat Canada. That's about the only thing I still care about, regarding the Olympics. I used to sit there and watch the most boring sports just to root for the USA.
But since so many of these athletes hate America now, I don't care what most of them do.
