Looking forward to voting for his conservative replacement.
What if the 2026 election is Cassidy vs JBE?
If Cassidy runs there’s still a chance he gets enough votes to get in a runoff if the field is really split.

I vote Cassidy in that matchup with no hesitation at all.
It's not even a debatable question.
Why?
Because elections have consequences and I actually understand this and vote accordingly
Especially when back in 2015, JBE was going around lying to people about what a conservative dixiecrat he really is.
No matter what idiots who were sky screaming over David Vitter who called themselves conservative were telling me about JBE, I actually read the fine print about him and it showed that he was the political twin of Edwin Edwards and he's a hardcore partisan liberal democrat and he has absolutely held true to that description today and he's upping the ante on it.
Outside of his nonsense about Trump, 1/6 and the impeachment, Cassidy hasn't really rocked the boat on any major issues. Granted that may mean he's quite do nothing useless as a Senator but I would much rather have that than the political twin of Edwin Edwards who constantly seeks to damage and destroy my conservative political and financial interests.

In a jungle primary, that's would not be very surprising at all.
