Concerning that employers, while not requiring, are shaming employees into vaccines

Saw where Obama's HHS Secretary said that unvaccinated people shouldn't be able to work or be around kids. Made me think about friends and colleagues that are being forced to take the vaccine.
Lo and behold, my employer sent out an email this morning lamenting that only 65 percent of employees are vaccinated and "We can do better."

My employer has been pushing it as well. They can try to shame me all they want. IDGAF.

Tell them they can pay you better.

Tell them you identify as vaxxed.

My employer requires proof of vaccination in order to be in the office without a mask. Amazing. They've never required it for the flu or anything else.......

Next they will try the “ Customer ABC will not do business with us until all our employees are vaxxed “ tactic

This is what they are going to use to brow beat people into it.

That segregation in the workplace is going to be incredibly awkward and foster division. It simply won't work.
Employers doing this are "following CDC guidance" but I don't get it. Who are the masks protecting? The already vaccinated?

I am of the belief that at this point, with its availability pretty much everywhere at no cost, that everyone who wants a vaccine has already received it. I do not make it a habit to talk to others about personal medical decisions, but I have picked up that there is a sizable number of people who have zero intention of ever getting it.
I work on a college campus that is probably >95% liberal as well. So either its not a political ideology thing like the media is telling us or college campuses aren't really as liberal as we think.

Same here. But once we get in our individual offices we can go maskless. It's funny because in our building owner follows state rules and does not require mask. So I just have to wear my mask for a about 50 feet down the office hallway to my individual office. It's all seems so silly.

My employer can subpoena my medical records if they want to know if I’ve had the jab.

Apparently it's supposed to protect the unvaccinated.
Furthermore my HR and lawyers are saying that if we contract COVID and it can be traced to catching it at the workplace it becomes a OSHA recordable. Funny thing is they were never concerned about people catching the flu at work and designatining it at an OSHA recordable before COVID.
What we have here IMO is agencies like the CDC, FDA and OSHA providing ambiguous guidance and overzealous Karens in HR making the most restrictive interpretations. Of course when anyone in the company ask why the immediate answer is "safety" and that shuts down all debate thereafter even from the CEO. No one wants to challenge "safety" albeit based on inconsistent logic.

I got uninvited to a company social because I’m not vaxxed. I had Rona just over a month ago. Common sense will tell you I’m vaxxed due to basic immunology but it’s a losing battle to fight with most people.

They are trying to get corporations to force vaccinations. So why are they so adamant about it when there is a 99.97% survival rate? Just a control thing? Or is it something more insidious? Things that make you go hmmmm.

Mine too but not in the company building but the Government building I work in. I haven't declared and they treat those that don't declare the same as unvaxxed. I'm pushing back bc the Government doesn't require this for military or civilians so even tho I telework right now I will be going back to the office soon 2 days a week....without a mask.

The door to door gestapo tactics are meant purely to intimidate and coerce.
